Nissan eyes Level 4 robotaxi service in Japan’s cities in 2027

Japan’s No. 3 carmaker will begin testing the driverless shuttle service in downtown Yokohama in the fiscal year starting April 1. Nissan’s service will expand over the following years to accepting riders in a fleet of self-driving Serena family vans.
