BYD exec says higher EU tariffs on China-made EVs are a ‘short-term challenge’

European customers will suffer most from punitive EU duties on China-built electric cars because the higher tariffs reduce buyers’ access to the best EVs, BYD’s Europe head, Stella Li, said.
