The show was a contrast to last year when Nio was the only homegrown Chinese automaker to attend the event, with BYD, China’s biggest automaker, displaying nine models alongside Chery’s mass market Omoda and more upmarket Jaecoo brands and luxury manufacturer Hongqi.
