EU moves ahead with provisional tariffs on EV imports from China

The EU confirmed that provisional duties will be imposed on Chinese automakers including SAIC, which faces a 37.6 percent tariff on top of the existing 10 percent rate, while Geely and BYD will be hit with additional charges of 19.9 percent and 17.4 percent, respectively.
