FTC, Connecticut: Nissan dealership didn’t certify CPO vehicles, inflated state fees

The Manchester City Nissan dealership in Connecticut charged customers unadvertised and unauthorized certified pre-owned fees, failed to obtain the certification advertised, put finance-and-insurance products into deals without consumer consent, and inflated or double charged state fees, according to a complaint filed Thursday by Connecticut and the Federal Trade Commission.
