Mich. Appeals Court backs Ford dealer’s request to arbitrate lease pricing case

The Michigan Court of Appeals upheld a lower court decision declaring a customer’s allegations of lease pricing deception at a Westland car dealership needed to be resolved through arbitration. Appellate Judges Mark Cavanagh, Kathleen Jansen and Allie Maldonado on March 21 affirmed Wayne Circuit Judge Edward Joseph’s decision to dismiss Richard Emerzian’s case against North Bros. Ford.
