Toyota achieves record first-half sales, output

Toyota’s first-half global sales climbed 8.3 percent to 5.6 million vehicles, while production rose 10 percent to a record 5.7 million units, putting the automaker on track for another year of strong gains thanks to robust demand and improving supply conditions.
