Turkey to impose additional 40% tariff on all China vehicles

Turkey, which had raised customs duties on Chinese EVs in 2023 to support the country’s first domestically produced EV, said the additional tariff will be imposed on the import of combustion and hybrid cars in order to increase and “protect the decreasing share of domestic production.”
