White House details term that could slash eligibility for EV tax credits

The ‘foreign entity of concern’ guidance gives automakers certainty as they invest billions in domestic EV and battery manufacturing. However, the interpretation likely will further slash the number of EVs that qualify for a credit as soon as next year.
